Mutiny used to be a very cool blog. Now the bloggers there are using it to spread hatred among Maharashtrians against North-Indians, and the other way round. Now this isn’t really going to make a difference, those who hate get another reason to, those who don’t, won’t hate even after all the anti-marathi posts there.

Being born and brought-up in maharashtra, I just feel bad that people who have never lived here, want to aimlessly criticize everything about the state that virtually runs the entire economy of all the rest of India. It’s one thing to criticize things you think are wrong, completely another to criticize a people just because they live in a state and that criticizing them brings to your blog more traffic and comments.

I’d post the whole story behind this, but it would be too long and it’s 4 AM. If you want to know - just go to http://www.mutiny.in - start with the raj thakrey post, read the comments - and move towards more recent anti-marathi posts and you’ll see what I’m saying.

Has the recession come into full effect only since the past 5 days? people suddenly seem to be buying cheap stuff, the average order value of an online sale across the board seems to have gone down quite a few $s.

Okay, so this is my 100th attempt at finally starting a blog on a domain name that’s based on my actual name. May-be, I’ll be able to actually write here (ir)regularly starting today! I really wanted to have a “personal” thought publishing platform ever since the 90’s. Looks like today is when pranavchavda.com is born - again, and again, and again - Well, hopefully for the last time, anyway.

There is another place where I have been blogging for over two years, Final Tag, I talk e-business news, thoughts, etc over there. There was, however, this need to express my thoughts about many, many other things that I hope this new blog will satisfy.
