IPod Classic 160gb Silver (7th Generation) NEWEST MODEL
HOT Apple iPod Classic comes with 160GB of storage in the same size, making it become the take everything everywhere iPod. It's available in quintessential silver or striking black. iPod classic 160Gb also has plenty of battery life (up to 36 hours of audio playback or 6 hours of video playback), good looks (a sleek, anodized aluminum design), and other great features (Cover Flow and Genius playlists for creating perfect playlists). You can rent a movie from iTunes and watch it.
A possible refresh of the Apple iPod Classic 160Gb line had been making its way through the rumor mill since the day the previous generation hit the market. One thing seemed clear though, amid the speculation: Flash memory was not quite at the price level it needed to be to usurp hard drives when it came to 16GB+ capacity players. Bearing this in mind, Apple was faced with two choices: either leave a gaping hole in its product line by not including hard drive-based models, or bite the bullet and bring them on board, thereby keeping the gravy train rolling for those of us with 20GB+ music libraries and a poor penchant for playlist creation. Entering the 80GB and 160GB iPod Classic.
They give the consumer the best out of the box experience in the industry. In keeping with tradition, the packaging for the iPod Classic 160Gb is a nicely scaled down box of minimalist design. To add a touch of class, the front surface picturing the player is also raised along the edges of the image. Pop it open and that virtual cardboard fantasy becomes a cold metal and plastic reality. In a sense, you are almost unveiling the product to yourself. This is actually kind of interesting, as it plays nicely on a psychological phenomenon called object permanence.

Ipod Classic (5th Generation) help?
My friend recently gave me an ipod for free. Its a 5th generation Ipod with Video or (classic) that is black. The model number is A1136. It was made in 2005. When I plugged in a regular ipod charger to this ipod video, it would not charge... I plugged four regular ipod chargers and they would not charge the ipod video. I was wondering what is going on? I tried everything: restarting, finding different usb ports. PLEASE HELP! WILL CHOOSE BEST ANSWER!!
Answer:
iPod Classic 5th Gens have a special type of connector. The newer ones probably don't work with it. Either that, or your computer doesn't have iTunes.
If I were you, tomorrow, call Apple. (1-800-MY-APPLE)
That would be the easiest, and if the connector isn't the right type, you can buy one for 10$.
Hope I helped
