Rumors Concerning The RIM Blackpad
The Blackpad is the newest rumor about Research in Motion. The keynote speech at Blackberry's DevCon today may very well formally broadcast the Blackpad. Reports have varied as to if the announcement can be made today. RIM has not said for sure what today's headline could be. Some claim the basic machine will not be ready for today's speech. The gossips swirling around the Blackpad are sure to continue. With or without an announcement, some are keeping a close eye on the newest developments.
RIM's enterprise tactic using the Blackpad
RIM is a company with several major challenges in front of it. Governments and high-security businesses were the original target of Blackberry machine. The small niche was very good to Blackberry. Obama is even known for using a Blackberry. Blackberry phones became really popular with customers. Though it was not intended, customers simply loved the devices. Balancing these two customer groups has proven difficult. RIM tries to maintain high-performance features and consumer friendliness. Numerous customers are defecting from RIM Blackberry devices to Android and Apple products.
Highlights of the Blackpad
The Blackpad is, in short, an iPad competitor. Blackpad will use a touch-based user interface and operating system. DevCon 2010 may see the Blackpad discussed. A real Blackpad to play with, though, probably definitely won't be ready. RIM almost certainly plans to discuss the facts of the Blackpad, though. The screen will most likely be 7 inches, though 9.7 is also a possibility. For video conferencing use, Blackpad will contain two cameras -- one on the front and one on the back. The biggest news is that Blackberry is developing a new operating system just for the Blackpad. You may not even need a fax-less payday loan to purchase one; the price may be lower than the iPad.
The market space for Blackpad
Though everyday consumers provide a large customer base for the Blackpad, RIM remains a business-based company. All customers could be the prospective of this Blackpad, though the security and high-functions can be maintained. The biggest benefit is the Blackpad might be released as a stand-alone system or on one of the four cellular networks that Blackberry already uses. In function, this means you'll not have to worry about a single cell phone carrier. There can be many other competitors to the Blackpad, with the Galaxy Pad by Samsung, as well as the WePad.
