Frequently Asked Questions...
Unknown Caller somehow froze my iphone.?
Im a technical person, from the basic knowledge that i have aquired about cell phones i know that an incoming caller cannot reset or control the phone unless prompted to by the owner/user of the phone. Today i recieved a call from an "unknown" caller, i answered and there was no reply, i waited about 15 seconds and then hung up. It might just be that the call was placed by an automated telemarketer and the machine messed up. Idk. After I hung up the screen went black "like it normally does after you end a call" and then i tried to login to my phone about 10 seconds later and i recieved no response from the phone watsoever, I pressed the home button and the power button then i did a hard reset which turned my phone on. Ive had an iphone since the 3G came out last summer, and this is not normal behaviour according to my standards. I have a Black 16gb 3G. The phone is functioning normally now. Can someone explain what happened?
Answer:
lol usually it seems like people start having alot more problems (somehow) when the new iphones about to be releases lol. Anyways, There isn't any way the person could interfere with your phone just by calling. If you download some MMS (which you don't have) that can sometimes screw up your phone especially if its a huge pic file or something.
If its under 1 year warranty i'd send it it.
